9.0" BEVELED STRAIGHT EDGE
Router Woodworking

Layout and scribing tools are the keys to better woodworking. Make them handy, and you're more likely to use them. This precision shop utility straight edge was made for your back pocket. In your pocket, more than 2/3rds of it will be protected. You'll have to turn upside down to lose it. If scribing, knifing, checking for flatness, drawing layout lines, and quality control are things you do, consider doing it with my straight edge.
This light weight, aluminum, precisely ground, beveled straight edge can be counted on as your shop standard for straightness, (better than .0007"/9"). Moreover, it can be used as a length standard (9.000" +or- .0015), sometimes extending your 6" pocket rule to 15". The beveled edge is 22.5 degrees and tapers to 3/32". The opposing edge, also ground, is square and parallel to .0015". Use either edge as needed.
The tapered edge, with less metal in contact with the work, will facilitate straightness/flatness inspections. Great for wood & metal workers. Can be cut from 2" to 12.5" for that special application, the ideal size for your hand, made and inspected by me here in the United States. The prefect gift for yourself, your woodworking pal, or, perhaps, your mother in law.
